Home for my University years and a few fun ones after that too! Probably always think of PE as home – so many fun days at UPE – and SO thankful Facebook wasn’t around then to capture our activities! An amazing City to visit with wildlife on your doorstep and beautiful beaches! Put it on the bucket list!
Our home from 2000 to 2003, and hopefully where we will end up again shortly. Always active, amazing beaches (love Burleigh!) and a fund place to be!
Known for it’s laid back and hippy lifestyle, Byron is a must visit with beautiful beaches and a cool, always interesting town – even if it is only to watch the locals!
Still to be explored – the Sunshine Coast has been elusive for now, as I have only travelled to Beachmere and done a brief reconnaissance mission to the Glass House Mountains. Still much more to be seen, from Bribie Island to Noosa and beyond!
100 odd kilometres west of Brisbane, Toowoomba is a stunning city, surrounded by colourful parklands and friendly country folks! I have found some great food spots and coffee to die for!
September 2017 was a special month – and an amazing trip to Vancouver with an inner passage cruise to Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan. This was also when I bought my Canon 80D and started learning how to take photos.
Perth was home to our family from 2006 until 2009 – only a short time – but even now it feels like home when we visit! An amazing city, with kilometres of beautiful beaches, and a selection of wine like nowhere else!
Don’t be fooled, Brisbane is some distance from the ocean, and even then it is mostly mud flats! But there are some hidden gem locations, jetty’s, piers and amazing trees, just waiting to be seen!
I have been fortunate to travel regularly to Melbourne, and my trusty Canon is always in my luggage. Melbourne offers an eclectic mix of street art and stunning ocean views, with some immediately recognisable skyline. I shall continue to explore the hidden laneways and corners of this exciting city.
With so many iconic photographic compositions, Sydney will always offer amazing images. Just make the time to explore, and try seeing things from a different viewpoint.
